Dr. Harrison Spitler – Senior Pastor
Harrison was born in Montgomery, Alabama and grew up on Lake Martin in the eastern part of the state. He did not grow up in a home where Christ was celebrated or church attendance allowed. But soon after he began attending Auburn University, he surrendered to Christ. After graduating with a degree in Organizational Management, Harrison spent 13 years in business, the last six of those while earning his Master of Divinity at Birmingham Theological Seminary. Harrison completed his Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2008 with an emphasis on Church Planting and Revitalization.
The Spitlers have served in France with Mission to The World as part of a church planting team, First Presbyterian Church of Montgomery as the Senior Pastor and in 2002 the Spitlers moved to South Charlotte to plant Grace Community Church. In addition to his ministry within Southlake Church, Harrison spends time promoting adoption and church planting.
