Earlier this month the Missions Committee had the pleasure of meeting a young recipient of our Faith Promise giving. Her name is Prashamsa Shrestha, and she’s a recent graduate of Grace Academy in Uttarakhand, India. We didn’t meet face-to-face, but rather via the lovely photo, heartfelt thank you letter and handmade card attached below. Please take a moment to get to know Prashamsa, and hear how the Lord has touched her life the past seven years, in part due to your faithful giving. What a blessing to be able to impact lives around the globe and expand God’s precious kingdom!
We now have the privilege of supporting a new student at Grace (see below). Her name is Ishita Esther Marandi, and she’s 10 years old. Ishita’s father is a servant of our Lord and currently the pastor of Pentecostal Holiness Church in the poor, rural community of Kishangani, Jharkhand. Her mother is a teacher in the same village. Because her parents are both busy working in the village, it is their strong desire that Ishita attend Grace Academy where she will receive a quality, Christ-centered education. She is described as a hard working girl who enjoys singing and dancing. Ishita is kind, humble, friendly, caring and an encouraging helper to friends.
Let’s remember to lift up both Prashamsa and Ishita in our prayers, as well as the other Grace Academy students we are supporting through Faith Promise giving: Pratistha Shrestha, Rachna Bhatta, and Silas Bhatta.
