Philosophy of Missions
The Session of SouthLake Church unreservedly and without exception affirms the inerrancy and infallibility of Holy Scripture and, in obedience to the Word of God, further affirms the SouthLake Church Missions Committee’s philosophy, governance, policies, and procedures. The committee seeks to support a broad range of outreach endeavors, from local programs to individual missionaries serving in very sensitive areas around the world.
The Glory Of God
The Missions Committee, as established by the Session of SouthLake Church (SLC), has as its primary goal the glory of God. The Session recognizes and values the sacrificial service provided to SouthLake Church and its Session by the members of the Global Missions Team and seeks to make opportunities to serve on the committee available to as many church members as desire to participate.

Missions Emphasis Sunday
The Missions team sets aside one Sunday each year to highlight the importance of Missions and the many Missionaries and projects supported by SouthLake Church.
Many of our local missionaries and those on home leave worship with us that Sunday, and the congregation has an opportunity to meet them and hear firsthand about how the gospel is being shared around the world.
Anyone interested in serving on the committee may contact anyone on the committee or a member of the Session. We are always looking for volunteers to help with short-term projects.
We seek to support a range of missionaries and projects, both international and domestic. Please look on our Missionaries Bulletin Board for photos and contact information for missionaries we support at this time.
