“To encourage our women to love God, know Christ and nurture lives in our church and the Lake Norman Community”
God’s heart for women’s ministry is that the godly older women in the church, under the authority of the pastor and elders, give leadership to the young women. They are to care for, disciple, teach and encourage the young women in Biblical womanhood and holiness. That is our desire at SouthLake Church through our Women's Ministry. What you will find are women who love God, love God’s Word, and love His Church. You will find women who want to obey Him with all their hearts. We do this with Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, Retreats, Sunday School, Small Groups and Fellowship Dinners.
Women’s Prayer and Bible Study
The Tuesday Morning Women's Prayer Group meets on Tuesday Mornings from 10-11:30am. We are more than a community, more than a family; rather, a body. This Ladies’ prayer group will be spending time in prayer and fellowship, to become the arms that embrace those in need and hands that serve. Beginning March 1st, this Ladies’ group will meet each Tuesday, 10-11:30am at the home of Steve and Debbie Hix. Please note that there will be no childcare. Parking is limited so ladies are encouraged to carpool.
The Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study, led by Mary McArthur meets Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 AM, in the Church Conference Room from September until May. The study is on 1 Corinthians. Come and join us for a time of learning, fellowship, enjoyment and making new friends.
